Brief biography

Petin Sergey Nikolaevich, born in 1983, Russian, graduated with honors from the Power Engineering Faculty of the Nosov Moscow State Technical University in Magnitogorsk in 2005 with the award of the qualification – engineer in the specialty “Industrial Heat Power Engineering”.From 2005 to 2008 . He studied at the full-time postgraduate course of the NRU MPEI.

In 2009, he was awarded the degree of Candidate of Technical Sciences in the specialty 05.14.04 “Industrial heat power Engineering”. The topic of the dissertation is “Development of a promising model of energy and environmentally efficient hydrogen production based on natural gas and combination of processes in ferrous metallurgy”.

2007 to the present day – works at the Federal State Educational Institution of Higher Education “NRU “MPEI” as an engineer, teacher on an hourly basis, senior lecturer and associate professor at the Department of Energy of High-temperature Technology.

From 2020 to 2022, he worked as an internal part-time employee at the Federal State Educational Institution of Higher Education “NRU “MPEI” as head of the Department of Additional Professional Education of the Institute of Distance and Additional Education.

From 2005 to 2017, he worked in organizations of the real sector of the economy:
